Lachtal in summer

Lachtal offers year-round relaxation for mountain lovers. In winter, snow sports enthusiasts take advantage of the skiing slopes, while in summer the hikers gather here. Whether you are travelling by car or by foot, you can make a variety of interesting excursions in the area, which offers a stunning view every season. The local climate is extremely favourable, crystal clear air has a good impact on people suffering from respiratory illness.
From the summer season 2023, our guests in our accommodation will receive a Murau-Murtal guest card, with which you can use many tourist attractions and services in this region at a reduced price.
The card is given to our guests after checking in at the hotel at the reception. The Murau-Murtal card is free.

You can choose between 2 different tickets:

• Blue voucher- Entry the adventure pool. You can use the services of slides and pools.
• Orange voucher- You can entry the adventure pool and the wellness-area as well. 

Hiking and nordic-walking:

Hikers can choose from several hiking trails of varying length and difficulty in the area:

• Rossalm, Lachtal, tour length: 2,42 km, with an altitude difference of 158 meters.
• Lachtal und Klosterneuburgerhütte, tour length: 5,2 km, with an altitude difference of 314 meters.
• Lachtal Zinkenalm, tour length: 10,7 km, with an altitude difference of 297 meters.
• Große Lachtal - 5 Gipfelwanderung, tour length:17,5 km, with an altitude difference of 720 meters.

Cycling tours:

• Mountain bike route
  Starting this summer, a signposted mountain bike route leads from the Lachtal to the Tauern wind park and over the Gföllgraben back to the Lachtal. In total, the route is around 27 kilometers and has an altitude difference of around 1,100 meters. The mountain bike route can of course be ridden in both directions.

• Tälertour Oberwölz - St. Peter: tour length: 11 km, with an altitude difference of 275 meters, The start point is to be found 15 km far from our hotel.
• R17 Wölzer Radweg, tour length:15,1 km, with an altitude difference of 105 meters. The start point is to be found 15 km far from our hotel.
• Lachtal-Tour Mountainbike: Tour length: 12,54 km,with an altitude difference of 784 meters. The start point is to be found 15 km far from our hotel.
• Mit dem Fahrrad zum Tauernwindpark Oberzeiring, tour length: 13,34 km, with an altitude difference of 1020 meters, The start point is to be found 13 km far from our hotel.

Motorbike tours:

• Lachtal-Günster Waterfall; distance from the hotel: 47 km, cca. 55 minutes.
• Lachtal-Gesäuse National Park; distance from the hotel: 73 km, cca. 1 hour 13 minutes
• Lachtal-Turracher Höhe; distance from the hotel: 76 km, cca. 1 hour 14 minutes
• Lachtal- Villach sightseeing; distance from the hotel: 113 km, cca. 1 hour 30 minutes
• Lachtal-Salzkammergut;distance from the hotel: 178 km, cca.2 hours 40 minutes

This is the world highest altitude Planetarium with its 46 meter.
