Lachtal in Winter
Thanks to the altitude and a snow cannon system assisted by a water reservoir, the snow supply is very secure in Lachtal.
The 150-hectare, sunny area has a total of 25 km of ski slopes and a 10 km long ski trail for winter sports enthusiasts. Lachtal has two 6-seat chairlifts, six T-bars and two short ‘magic carpets’ for children. Most of the ski slopes are blue and red, but freeriders will not be disappointed either, as there are several alternative routes for the fans of powdery snow.

- Children up to the age of 6* ski for free with the "Mini Ticket"!
- During early and post season: children up to the age of 15* ski for free when accompanied by a parent (offer valid for ski passes with a minimum validity of 2 days)!
- When accompanied by a parent, only two children or youth* pay for the ski pass. All other younger children or youth* belonging to the family are free!

For couples with children up to three years* (proof required) the second adult only pays the child rate (for multiple day tickets).

Ski resort and Kinder Lachtal
The ‘Kid Zone’ provides an excellent and safe platform for children and beginners to learn skiing. The trails and lifts offered to them create the ideal conditions for safe learning, which is made even more enjoyable by a mini slalom course, colourful fairy-tale figures and a wavy course.
Under the age of 6 all lifts are free of charge under parental supervision.
Professional ski instructors are available for those who want to learn skiing.
Younger and older guests can enjoy the experience of a lit sledge course which is open until 10 p.m. and is 300 meters from our accommodation.
The ski resort also offers enjoyable recreation for adults, the 26 km long, well-maintained track system with beginner, intermediate and advanced tracks, a snowboard park, a cross-country ski track, a total of 9 lifts, sledding, restaurants and huts awaits winter sports lovers.

Witch Path in Rachau
There is a lot to experience along the Witches' Path, which begins at the entrance to Rachau and is lovingly maintained. Because the witch Zwiderwurzn welcomes all visitors, big and small, to her little house in the middle of the forest.
